Trouver sur le site http://www.bmtmicro.com/BMTCatalog/win/zmodeler.html

Modeler is an independ 3D editor that has a control on objects you create and output files format. It is aimed to make the edition of 3D meshes for the games simpler and faster. It is achieved by adding a plugin for the file format you want to import and/or export. You do not need to wait until someone writes an editor for the game you want. All is necessary is the plugin and you can simply edit the 3D mesh, change textures and so on.

Modeler gives you a brunch of common functions, like Move, Rotate, Delete and others. And, of cause, it has an advanced edit- and create- functions, that makes a creation process much simpler and faster. Also Modeler is very good when working or creating a low-polygon-count objects (that all 3D games uses) and that feature distinguish it from other advanced editor like 3DSMax, that creates a realistic, but too detailed meshes. Only low-polygon-count meshes rendered by Direct 3D with a high speed (frame rate). And you should remember it when you create a detailed meshes in Modeler.

Je préfère laisser la traduction à un pro.
